Loading VMD

There are various versions of VMD on Henry2. To see the various versions available, type module avail and ls /usr/local/apps/vmd/*.csh . To set the environment, either source the appropriate script or load the default module

module load vmd 

Running VMD

Do not use VMD on a login node. VMD must be run on an HPC-VCL node.

Older versions of VMD may not work on the current VCL image. To run on the VCL, log in to an HPC-VCL node, open a terminal, and type:

module load vmd 
vmd
