See the Request Access for information and instruction for gaining access to HPC.

For research, NC State faculty members can request an HPC project. One HPC project for research is available per faculty member.
For education, faculty may request an additional HPC project specifically for students enrolled in a course.
The Request Access link also provides information on gaining access for researchers at partner universities (ECU, UNCG, and UNCW).

To manage or add additional NC State Unity IDs to an existing project, or to request research storage, use the OIT Research Services web portal.

Basic use of the Hazel cluster

This all virtual, online introductory course gives an overview of using NC States's Hazel cluster for beginners. The class includes essential Linux commands, logging in, file transfer, storage options, running basic applications with simple job scripts, and submitting parallel jobs.
